Graveside services were held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Delhi Cemetery for Arbie Dean (Boy) Pendleton, who died at 2:25 p.m. April 11 in Gonzales. The Rev. Happy Jack officated at the service. 

 

Mr. Pendleton, a member of the Baptist faith, was born in Delhi on June 25, 1939.  His parents were Tyre and Myrtle Popps Pendleton, natives of Caldwell County.  An auto mechanic, he lived on Route 4.

 

Surviving him are thre daughters, Mrs. Betty Lous Jones of Gonazles; _____, ______. and one son ________.  One granchild; four sisters, Mrs. Gladys Lou Moore and Mrs. Artie Rae Daniels both of Luling, _______of ________, Mrs. Jessie Wofford of Danbury; and two brothers, Roy Hill Pendleton of Rosharon and Damon ClayPendleton of Blessing.

BRICKER
Betty Lou Bricker, 43, answered the call from her Lord and Savior Tuesday March 23, 2010.  She was born October 28, 1966 in Ganado, TX to Arbie and Hilda Long Pendleton.  She married Eric Van Bricker on August 5, 1997 in McAllen, TX.  Betty loved unicorns, tulips and the color purple.  She enjoyed cooking, camping with her children and riding on a Harley, but all things she loved her grandchildren more.  She is survived by her mother, Hilda Pendleton of New Braunfels, daughters, DeAnna Lea Dawson (Brooks) of Lake Charles, La., Cherie Annette Bricker of Cuero, grandson, Jay Brandon Dawson and Brandon Mikel Harvey, sisters, Rose Garza, Joanna Spencer, Bobbie Jo Spencer, brothers, Harvey Daniels, Douglas Corrigan and Earl Pendleton.  She was preceded in death by her father and a son Brandon Earl Jones.  Inurnment services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday April 9, 2010 in Hawley Cemetery in Matagorda County.  Memorials may be made to the Delhi Community Center.  Services were under the direction of Seydler-Hill Funeral Home.

Brandon Earl Jones

Brandon Earl Jones was born on Nov. 4th, 1983.  He was called to serve our Lord on Dec. 22nd, 1983.

He was the son of Betty L. Pendleton-Jones and Larry Jones.

 

He was preceded in death by his great grandfathers Robert E. Long and Tyre Stokes Pendleton also great grandmother Myrtle Adell Popps-Pendleton.

 

He is burried at Hawley Cemetery in Blessing, Texas
