Here is our little story:

 

As you have read at the home page we are descendants of Daniel Norton Sr. and Winney Mitchell Norton.  They have an Unknown Norton child in which married or not had Washington Tyre Norton.  W.T. was born on January 17th, 1826 in Sumterville, Sumter, South Carolina.

 

Now Washington Tyre Norton is our family pedigree.  He married Mary Anna Elizabeth Davis (b. 9/7/1833, in Jones County, Georgia) on September 4th, 1850 in Eldorado, Union, Arkansa.

 

On August 18th, 1851 in Arkansa they had their first daughter Malvina Watts.  Then came along William Owen on April 30th, 1854 in Texas.  A couple years later Kate Elizabeth entered this world on August 1st, 1856 in Texas.  Year 1859 was soon here and they had their 2nd son Sam Houston on October 16th in Texas.  Next to be born was Mary Washington on November 9th, 1861 in Texas. 

 

W.T's family has now moved to Waelder, Gonzales County, Texas.  They are far from being done with having children.  October 16th, 1866 in Gonzales County came Jessie Ione.  John Lidridge followed in 1869 to be exact the date was February 20th.  The family is now living in Austin, Texas were John was born.  Fifth daughter Maud Abelia was born on April 11th, 1871 in Austin, Texas.  Uceba Sarah followed on November 15th, 1873 in Austin, Texas.  Martha Lane was the last to be born on August 31st, 1876 also in Austin, Texas.

 

W.T. Norton passed away on January 11th, 1910 in Rockland, Texas

Mary Anna Elizabeth Davis  Passed away on April 12th, 1899 in Waelder, Texas

 

I have not found W.T. to have any sibilings....
